ARCOlisboa is Portugal’s leading international contemporary art fair, and in its ninth edition it reaffirms Lisbon’s role as a strategic meeting point for collectors, gallery owners, artists and industry professionals from around the world.

The Cordoaria Nacional will once again serve as the fair’s main venue, hosting the galleries and projects selected by the Organising Committee, alongside content developed by curatorial teams.

The General Programme, the fair’s core, will bring together national and international galleries with proposals that stand out for their commitment to quality and artistic excellence. In addition, ARCOlisboa will feature the Opening Lisboa section, curated by Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto, aimed at promoting new artistic languages and spaces, encouraging discovery and research. This edition also features a special project led by curator Cosmin Costinas, entitled Archipelago of Art Histories, which will explore the lineages and inherited knowledge present in contemporary artistic practice.

ARCOlisboa will open its doors with an exclusive day for industry professionals, followed by the opening to the general public, once again establishing itself as a key event on the international contemporary art calendar.
